I am an engineering student and my father was arrested for DUI because his car hit a tree while he was drunk. Finishing my degree may now take several more years, if I even continue to have the money to GO to college because now I might have to help my parents make the house payment if he loses his job because of it. Idaho does not use DWI we only have DUI\'s. If we have someone who is extreamly drunk we just tie them to a tree and cover their chests in honey like on Heavyweights

My mistake was returning to the scene of my accident drunk. The accident itself was enough to make me want a drink and the walk I made because I wasn\'t with a phone just made me start drinking. The drinking caused everyone at the party I was at to try and pull my truck out of a ditch. BIG mistake. I took the cops with all honesty, admitting to having had at least TWO beers before I left the party. BIGGER mistake, but look what honesty gets you. Then again, it was my word against their judgement. I just should\'ve stayed at the party... regardless, I\'ve learned something from it and I don\'t envy anyone driving drunk and paying a bigger price... I can and only will imagine that.
